they are good.. I've been here for 6 months and i get a min of 2400 miles a week and thats monday thru friday if you work 7days thats when you make good money. there are guys that say they are not doing good tho. i don'g know what they are doing. trucks are 75mph but i drive 60 to 62. the best thing you can do is take all loads they give you the first 90 days.. do not i repeat do not turn down a ok load to wait on a lil better paying load. you loose money everyday you are not loaded..

I work with colonial and i haven't heard about this ten weeks program. Colonial has been good to me but there are some drivers that say they aren't doing well. I go from nc to tx or tn to tx, you can go wherever you want.. The trucks are set at 75 and they do have paper and e logs.. They don't bother you as long as you don't get tickets..

My husband and I talked to David at Colonial last week. We are students. They do hire new student drivers and have a training program. They told us that we have to lease a truck, $800 per week. We have decided not to go with them because we are too new at this trucking business to hop into a big lease like that. Hope that helps.

watch yourself if you are thinking about going to lease a truck at colonial freight systems, the truck notes are not going to be what they tell you at recruiting. and don't even think that they give a darn about you because they don't. I was a contractor with them. they tried to get me to dead head all over the place to get low paying freight. I broke my foot on the job, called them and reported it, went to the hospital and got a cast called on Monday and it took me saying I was going to get a lawyer just to get there insurance to call me. after I told them what happened they denied my workmans comp. now I cant work they keep charging me for insurance even though my truck has been turned in and I don't have a job! all this has happened right before Christmas, merry freekin christmas

I can say they alright with me. If u work and be smart bout the loads u run, keep ur truck loaded, watch exp. Basically be a business man you will like them. I love the company myself. Those who are not good business minded won't and don't make it. Ur treated like an o/o.

I just got out of school to get my blue stripe back in my hip pocket. While I was there, a recruiter from Colonial came to talk to us. I can't say I'd trust the company based on what he said. That boy was nothing but a snake-oil salesman and used car salesman, all wrapped up into a recruiter package. The triple death..... He was VERY quick with answers to questions and if he didn't know the answer, instead of saying, "I'll find out," he'd pull a lie out of his rear end. Nah, I don't think so.... Not this fat Carolina boy.
