Dispatcher loves to stir up drama. New drivers act like 2 year olds. Drivers are considered a dime a dozen.

Pros

Profit Saring/ 401K Customers are great

Cons

Don’t give a hoot about the drivers. No bonus or Christmas card. Lol

Just like anywhere else it’s a paycheck. It all depends where you go and what you do. Terminal has older equipment while the dedicated accounts normally have newer equipment. All trucks have cameras. There’s better options in the Indy area in my opinion.

Pros

Weekly paycheck, cheap insurance (but you get what you pay for)

Cons

High level of accountability for the driver but not management

3 reasons AAA Cooper is not a good job

1. A camera is mounted in the cab and pointed at the driver. Makes for a long uncomfortable drive every day.

2. insurance plan is unusually terrible. You're pretty much on your own as you contribute to your own healthcare savings account and avoid going to the doctor or getting any procedures done.

3. Company contributes only about $1,300 a year to your retirement account. If you work 30 years you will have only about 39k to retire on. That's less than a years earnings so you end up working until you die.

Good points: Once a year they cook hot dogs for their employees.

AAA Cooper

Q: Hi, anyone have any good or bad info on AAA Cooper in Duncan SC? Thanks in advance

A: have a buddy of mine that works for them in Montgomery Alabama on the P&D side. I am sure not a lot of diff in the two. local trucks high mileage and breaks down and now they are beginning to install cameras in their fleet local and line haul.. He goes in about 8 or 9 in the morning and gets home about 9 at night and week ends off. decent benefits and everyone makes the same according to him. I guess it must be ok he has been there for several years. don't know if this helps any.
