This the absolute worse company ever. I'm surprised the government hasn't shut them down yet. The blatant thieft from the driver is inexcusable. The unprofessionalism is deplorable.

Pros

There are no pros with this company

Cons

There is nothing good about this company. Outright lied to us before we signed on. If you read the other reviews we all say the same thing. The equipment was in poor shape. The dispatch and safety people were rude and unprofessional. If you can see the dat board you can see how much they skim off the top. So not to re-pete but can't stress enough how awful this company is.

Beverly Freight requires all drivers to pay for orientation out of first paycheck that starts the 2 week. They are skimming off the top of every load. They do not devide the load info into line haul and fsc. You get a gross amount therefor they are illegally keeping the fsc. The web site, now deactivated, promised gross weekly of 6-8,000 with the average lease operator grossing $7,400.00 per week. A blatant fraudulent misrepresention to obtain a contract from a driver. Tractors are out of service when you start driving so immediate repairs are required! Weekly extra costs are the norm. Your ELD will be altered regularly. PC is not allowed, a violation of FMCSA regulations for independent drivers. Instead of 14 hour duty days you will magically have 16 hours or more and 12-14 drive hours. You will be told you must have an annual preformed every 90 days. They want you get your tractor serviced every 10,000 miles not what your manufacturer states in its official manual. If you make them angry, by telling them the laws that govern commercial driving, they will withhold your paycheck.

Pros

Sadly I have paid thousands to date above and beyond expenses. Payroll will arbitrarily just keep extra funds with no receipts provided as true extra costs. This company is run like a mafia organization. Horrid treatments is not a good enough description.

Cons

You love being treated like crap then come work here and you will be happy.

This is a nightmare company, they will charge drivers every way they can just to line their own pockets, they fined me $1000 for being out of service for 1.5 hrs for a screw in my tire, friend of mine still hasn't gotten his last paycheck, do yourself a favor and avoid this company, if you come to Beverly freight you'll be sorry

This company is the worst of the WORST! I DON'T THINK IT CAN GET ANY WORSE THAN BEVERLY FREIGHT! This is my first time writing a review about any trucking company. I have been driving for almost 7 years and I never encounter anything like this in my entire trucking career. Not only they take the expenses out every week but they pay you by two loads each week leaving you with nothing the biggest check I've ever received from this company is $600. I was here for almost 2 months and haven't made a dime. My advice to you is don't come here. With them my first week two drivers quit, then I heard from dispatch that they only have a total of seven drivers that's left. Do yourself a favor DON'T COME!!!!!!!

Pros

There are none

Cons

Overall just a bad company to work for.
