Have worked here 5 years now. Pay is pretty good, Hometime is ok, depending on where you live. Small enough to feel like a family atmosphere, people easy to talk to. Not a babysitter company, so you better know your stuff.
Pros
Good pay, relaxed company
Cons
sometimes home time can be difficult, especially if you are running coast to coast.

I got hired on with BTI in October 2018. I was told a lot of things that sounded great. I only wish they were true.
1. I was told I could make 1400.00 to 1800.00 a week. According to the drivers, not true. Average pay I figured to be about 60,000 to 70,000. For oversize permit flatbed freight? Wow!
2. I was told I would be put in a motel for orientation. Was told after the first night I would sleep in a room above the shop, like a drivers lounge for the rest of my orientation.
3. The truck they wanted to assign me was old, smelled like an ashtray and had well over 1 million miles on it. It was literally in pieces in the shop. One driver said you regularly have to switch trucks due to breakdowns. They look pretty but...
4. After not wanting to sleep in the garage, not agreeing to work for less money than I was told and not wanting to drive old stinky equipment I left and was denied reimbursement for my travel there or home. I repetedly just asked to be reimbursed for my travel and was denied by the recruiter and the vice president.
Pros
They were very friendly at first.
Cons
Mostly old equipment with nice paint jobs.
