Although im no longer with Carroll Fulmer at this current moment, i was previously there for 3 yrs, i left due to some family issues, Great company i plan to return to them, i ve researched other options, and had great offers, However the defining decision for me is based on how im treated, im respected and was treated as a professional. During my 3 yrs i did well, paychecks was always on time and Correct, i ran the Southern regional, mostly drop n hook freight, avereged about 2600 miles sometimes more, i never missed an appointment with them, always had my home time. NEVER SAT for days waiting on a load. Is this the best company, perfect company No, BUT if your looking to find a company that cares about you and your family, and that is driver friendly will respect you... give them a chance, i look forward to getting back on the road with them

Pros

tons of freight, grea home time, respectable, curtious and honest

Cons

i would like to see more double bunks in the fleet

ve been with Carroll Fulmer for about 5 years now and its my last place i will be, i plan to retire here in another 4 to 5 years, i ve been trucking for over 25 yrs and im very happy to call this place home, ive been with some great companies in my time and this one is one of the top 3 ive worked for. Geat curtious people, very freindly atmosphere, i run the Southern regional and have been for 3 yrs now and very happy with the amount of miles i get, very steady 27/2800 each week, like all places it does fluctuate but thats been my steady average great home time, i made my daughter graduation. all great equipment, will like to see a few changes, maybe add kenworths to the fleet or peterbuilts

Pros

grreat home time, Miles, good freight

Cons

would like peterbuilts/kenworth to the fleet, microwaves etc

Ive been very impressed with CF, ive been here a year and at first i read reviews and was worried, but i then took a chance and a year later going strong, its a great company, lots of freight, i get alot of miles, i average 2600-2800 miles. Ive never missed home time, pay has always been there and has been consistent. During Covid, my miles never went down they went up, CF looked after me and my family. If your reading this and deciding to make a change, deciding to come to CF, take a chance like i did.....best chance ive ever taken

Pros

Carroll Fulmer

I'm not one to just bash a company but I've been working for Carroll Fulmer for 8 months hand I run as hard as they will let me and I only make about $500 a week average they send me home early from my days app and they also take $25 a week out of your check for what they call truck deposit like an escrow also you have to pay for two load locks up front before your first check they also charge you a percentage off a draw if you don't use the money for their truck and a $6 fee for the comp check also you know that Florida is a toll road Haven and they only reimburse you $10 her load for tolls another thing is no matter how much experience you have you start at $0.34 a mile and they've also got cameras in their trucks facing in the truck and out of the truck they say it's for your protection also yeah right at night when the day folks go home they send everybody a message saying don't call the day crew has gone home we are short-handed use the Qualcomm and as long as they hear what they want they'll communicate but when you try to tell him something's wrong or you don't agree with them they just don't answer the phone or return your call on the Qualcomm and I'm sitting in a truck stop right now in Dallas after 19 hours of waiting to get loaded they finally told me my load was cancelled and they all try to get me something out but I know it's not going to happen because they are dispatchers in the load planners won't be in till tomorrow morning so if you don't mind being lied to come on down four or five trucks a month opening up with new people going in them but I have never seen such a turnover in any company and help I work for JB Hunt not bashing them but good luck and watch out for the bed bugs

Carroll Fulmer

I recently booked a load through Carroll Fulmer and late in the afternoon they pulled the load from me because they already had a truck at the pick-up location. Mind you, I had a SIGNED rate confirmation with this company and was told I had until 8pm to pick-up the load. This was going to be my first load with this company and they burned me real bad. I definitely do not recommend anyone to haul a load for this company because if they can pull a load from me they can pull a load from you.
