Brandt the owner used to encourage paper logs prior to the ELD mandate because it was easier to cheat and if you didn't want to play ball he didn't want you to be there.

Pros

Cons

Brandt the owner is very self-serving and is different from the squeaky clean image he puts forth.

Best company I’ve EVER worked for and hope to again someday soon once I get personal things straight in Texas. Had to leave because of family but now that’s pretty much taken care of I hope to return if they’ll have me back!

Pros

Home every weekend. New equipment, great coworkers, very friendly and understanding staff. Very family oriented and care about their drivers. Any problems with shippers, receivers, equipment, etc. is taken care of immediately.

Cons

A higher pay scale but other than that, nothing.

I worked at King Farms for more than 5 years. The owner, Brant, is the best boss I've ever had. I had to quit because my personal life required I be home nightly, otherwise I would still be there. The Dispatchers are the best in the industry. They always got me home at least 1.5 days a week, usually Saturday & Sunday. Brant and both dispatchers are class a drivers and put in many miles so the understand what you go through. All of Brant's equipment is new and very well maintained. If you intend to be a paid tourist, don't bother applying. You will be to busy. Brant is honest and you will always know where he stands. He's also the first in line to show his appriciation.

Pros

New trucks and trailers. Anything the driver needs for the job is quickly provided. It's like a family.

Cons

Lots of trips to California.
