***Disclaime*** I am NOT a current employee.I am an O/O that ran short term as a company driver for MAG. I had it out with one broker and in house dispatcher(who is no longer there) and left. That being said it is still the best place I have worked in over a decade of being OTR. For a small company they are doing everything right for the drivers and O/O. #1 YES they have a few company trucks now, but that in no way shape or form offers and less of an option to O/O nor do O/O compete with company trucks for freight. The business model will prove itself to you. You chose your own freight off any industry load board. George the owner is a driver himself who went out and got his own authority and decided to let some other O/O drive under his authority and since he is an honest hard working Christian man things grew from there. He built an office and has his people handling all the back office stuff as cheaply and efficiently so a driver can go out broker their own loads run how they want to and need to run and leave the burden of the office work to someone else. It is a business model that works exceptionally well for everyone involved. Hands down the next best thing to bigger more well know big boy outfits like Land-Star. If you are motivated you can easily do your high 6 figure trucking right there at MAG.

Pros

Broker your own freight. Have rates before MAG even does. All back office support for small % of your loads. Next best thing to having your own full authority. Go where you want when you want get paid what you are willing to run for and not a penny less.

Cons

Small terminal location tight fit only because they have such a great reputation and have outgrown the real estate. I am certain that will change in the near future.
