I’ve been working for them since July 2020. This company is hands down one of the best companies I’ve ever worked for ., Their straight up honest , home time is no problem and, I never had a discrepancy with a paycheck . The miles are there and above all they will not push you if you do not want to be pushed . They are very respectful to you and very easy to get in touch with . I would suggest getting employed with them . Stay away from these 1099 companies in Chicago ! But Merx is a damn good place to work for .,

Merx is an honest company and they have always kept their word with me. The miles are there if you want to run them, my paycheck always comes on time, and the equipment is nice and new, . Dispatchers are always available to the drivers and if I have questions, the Operations manager is available too. So you feel heard and supported.

It is an OTR job, so the home time isn't great, but they always get you home when they tell you they will.

I used to work as owner op with this company until I found out that they were stealing from my loads. I can not understand why they would do that but it has happened to some of the other drivers I knew there. The owners are stuck up and very hard to talk to, they hide behind their staff when there are problems. Some drivers were complaining that their miles did not add up... just not a company I can trust unfortunately. I will never recommend them to anyone. It is hard enough to make a living and then have someone take it from you so vindictively is bad.

Very good people, nice equipment, do things the right way. Settlements are on time and right, easy to send paperwork etc
