i have been here going on 8 years and my Dispatcher as been awesome from day 1 respect if you give it all company's say give respect to respect well if you treat your driver manger right they will treat you the same way never i don't care what company you go to work for your driver manger is your best friend

great company then again that's my thoughts i have some fault here but will never say them

could use some help in wearhouse with stacking pallets

company was good but, no communication when run it to problem,dispatcher won"t answer,lie to v.p. to cover his ***. so there lost ,miles and hometime his there.v.p of opreation good person get along with.great money do your loads money there

I have worked for Premier for a total of 18 yrs. Started as a team with hubby. We left after 5 yrs and came back in 7 months. I am buying my 3rd truck from them. They will work you as much as you want. Sometimes at the first if the ye as r things are slow. You get $35 for company, and $40 O/O when you have to wait to be loaded or unloaded.. You get $35 an hr detention time starting after you have been there 2 hrs.

Pros

They do a DOT yearly inspection every 3 months. This can catch things that can normally go unnoticed. Probably kept me from ruining my motor once.

Cons

Yards can get crowded.

We spent ALOT ofmoney to move home so we could drive local (which they promised us) and we find out they are trying to put us otr teams. We had to take the solo regional work just to make our bills. They dont allow dogs in the trucks so we also have to pay someone to watch them as we never know when we are going to be home. Havent even moved into our place......... Very frustrated.

 

And i forgot mention the out dated elogs and beat to hell trucks. No one there will tell you the same story twice. Ocala terminal is NOT hiring local. There are no local jobs unless you go to lakeland and that is sketchy. Forget about it
