New truck leased 2021 freightliner 3rd week Second check is negative because tyey claimed the camera in the truck didnt work i paid the fuel and almost 250 miles dead head for them to say nothing is wrong with it Also they have long dead heads to each load They break the lease agreements multiple times They also take advantage of small businesses and sole proprietors You wont make any money with R E GARRISON they lie the payroll is never on time They tell you in orientation that when you lease a truck you pay for everything They do not send settle statements like they say its always a different time when payroll is supposed to be done by Thursday at 4:30 pm You will not pay off the truck they will exploit every driver they can and never pay that driver for driving the truck you work for free They lie about no forced dispatch if you dont like the load they give you they will sit you around and not give you another load even if the call to not take the load due to snow chain regulation They also commit theft of services through the rate for the loads that they lie about They say in orientation that they are not cheap thats a red flag

Pros

None

Cons

You wont make any money They commit fraud They lie They break the contracts They make up fake maintenance problems So all the bad after just 3 weeks

I have to start off by saying that many of the reviews I have read are fraudulent. Contracts on trucks are NOT 10 years.. lol. And if you make $200 on a pay check, its because you didn't work. We now own our 4th truck through Garrison. We always get paid on time, make good money and have our home time. This company treats you like family. They have an open door policy. They will bend over backwards to help you if you need it. My husband and I drive team for Garrison. My husband did go to another company for a short bit, but returned to Garrison. Alot of people fail due to their own poor money management, not because of Garrison. Trucking isn't for everyone. Its a business. You have to run it as such. Dispatch is always trying to get you the best loads that they can. You need to be on time. Some people think that they can get there whenever. It doesn't work that way. I would send anyone to Garrison. I trust them. I saw someone say that this company is a scam. Lol.. The only scam are the lies that some people are telling in their reviews. Keep up the good work Garrison and thank you for all that you do..

Pros

This company is all in for self. It does not work for lease contractors. They don’t keep their word, likes to pacify you. I expect to get paid for my work, they don’t pay layover, detention and lie about doing it. Overall, it’s a garbage Company. Not a Trust worthy company.

Pros

TV and cable ????

Cons

No good loads, don’t pay detention, too many errors on check.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM ALL THE WAY!!!!!! RUN FOREST RUN!!!! This trucking firm should be investigated by local news media and the F.M.C.S.A. (we need ERIN BROCKOVICH to take these greedy JERKS on !!!) The public should know the truth behind this fraudulent company telling everyone they instill the same principles and beliefs of the companys founder R.E. Garrison (boy aint he rollin in his grave) Alright guys you ready for the lies? let's start with orientation you don't get 2 weeks truck payment free, you don't get any sign-on bonuses, you don't get paid for orientation, they give you good runs the first few weeks and you think wow i've finally picked a good company, then reality sets in after your check starts becoming less than $200 (thats hundred not thousand guys!) what should i do buy groceries for my family this week or pay the utilities? (but the FAT CATS are doing both this week along with a nice steak dinner at Outback , restaurants are open now) EVERY BAD REVIEW YOU READ ABOUT THIS COMPANY IS THE GOD HONEST TRUTH YOU ARE ONLY A NUMBER (REPEAT THIS TO YOURSELF ONLY A NUMBER!!) Oh yea you get to ride in those purdy bright colored trucks even some with beautiful murals that people stop and take pictures of but that beauty comes with a price around $800.00 a week and believe me oh yes you will pay every week no matter what!!( EVEN THROUGH THIS CORONA PANDEMIC) Don't even think about hazardous pay don't even mention it your wasting your time and theirs (remember your a number) but don't you worry upper management will try to console you and tell you your gonna have a bad week sometimes to keep stringing you along so you keep hoping things will start to look up only so you'll continue paying their truck payment for them ( remember truckers it aint your truck till that last payments made in about 10 years) when your mentally and financially ruined from this fraudulent company because the owners are fattening their wallets because we are out here sacrificing our families, breaking our backs, risking our lives to be verbally, mentally, and financially humiliated and disgraced (you might as well spit on us while your at it !) I hope the new owners of R.E. Garrison Trucking sleep well tonight! THIEVES!!!!!! P.S. Dispatch will try to fire you if you disagree with them!! I have currently turned my truck lease and all my paperwork along with photos of my qualcom data into my attorney because my paychecks don't add up!!

Pros

Ran into a couple here in Jackson Mississippi. Nice people. Said they are a good company but that some people have trouble....I'm learning that every company is good to some bad to others......they had a nice lime green Cascadia and seemed to like what they did.

I was a lease operater with Garrison. They will run you out of the gate pretty good. And then get ready. To starve that is. Everything I am putting down is truth. Try and force you to do short runs. 2000 to 5000 mile runs that take from two to days. When they send rates to you on qual com. It never adds up. I never could figure it out. If you are from Alabama you stand a chance. But if you are from out of Alabama you are in trouble. And dont expect that escrow. They will take it. I am looking into legal action now against them. I know they Have lost contracts. And dedicated lanes. There qual com's sure find away of being cut off on broker loads they cant cover. Just to mention. This is really not the old Garrison. It was sold out sometimes back. They lost one of there contracts last year. Ventura foods. Alot of no paying chicken runs. When I say that. You could have a couple picks. But! Be ready to spend a couple days getting it. Dont ask for detention lol. There is tons of reasons to run from these people. My advise is run. You are going to lose.
