Located
in Burlington, NJ. Low pay (.43 CPM), especially for company drives and they
lied big time. Told me I was going to be exclusively hauling electronics but
they quickly turned me into a mover after one trip. (At 58 years old I did not
want to be a mover) I hung in there for 3 months waiting for the right time to
make a move. Gave them 2 days notice and I was gone!
As for potential lease drivers, their trucks available have over 800K miles.
And their warehouse people only get paid $8.50 to $11.00 and hour and the 11
bucks was to someone who had been there over 10 years! A crappy company that
people should stay away from.

My dad has a good friend driving for the Armstrong branch and he owns his own truck a 2004 freightliner he leased from them, and he's making a killing, even after paying labor, fuel, claims and all that fun crap. It was something I wanted to do at one point, it was actually the main reason I got my cdl was to drive for United, but after I started hauling FREIGHT not household, I never looked back lol, yes the money is great, if you know what your doing, but like I said your working for every penny
