The pay on my route isn't too bad. If I put the hours in I can make the money. The trucks are a mixed bag. Some nearly new some old, if you want a newer truck good luck getting a manual transmission. Only 2 newer trucks with manuals and they are both taken. The trailers are mostly over 20 years old and look terrible but the tires, brakes, suspension, and lights are maintained.
Pros
Home daily for most, equipment is legal
Cons
Hauling milk with an autoshift, lack of proper benefits, lack of raises, long hours sometimes sitting at plants. Management doesn't listen nor do they care. Owner is sometimes very arrogant.
