Q: Any one have any info on Warren Transport out of Waterloo Iowa they would like to share. Good or Bad.
A: Stay away. Just stay away. If you own a truck and it looks good go a little north to Denver IA and see a gentleman named Bryce at Seeger's trucking. Much better choice. Unless you are looking for a van job, then check JRRW transport out of North Liberty, IA.

My husband and I are owner ops with Warren and we love it. We live in Covington GA, and we run from Augusta/Grovetown to Laredo, or up to IA, Il, WI. We're home almost every weekend. There can be some dead heading, but nothing major and they do pay to dead head on some loads. We are van and rarely choose loads over 20k, so we run light. And yes you can get over 2500 miles a week....Great Company...that's why you don't find reviews, a well kept secret in the day of the internet age...

"Things" have changed alot apparently. They (Warren) thinks nothing of having a O/O run deadhead 200, 300 and even 400 miles without even breaking a sweat to get another load. Just spent From Tuesday 7:30am to Friday morning 10am waiting for a load in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I was offered two loads both that were terrible and finally I found my own load that they screwed up by asking the broker for more money after finding out the load was 10' wide but the load was hay and the permits are all free due to this type of freight being exempt. I finally threw my hands in the air and drove home (500+ miles) empty. Will probably not be there much longer with this kind of approach. And if I were the only one having this issue I would re-examine my ideals and change my ways to fit into the program. But this isn't the case at all. Nearly everyone I speak to has some sort of issue with this very same point, deadhead. The company has some real issues in siging contracts with brokers so the pool of possible reloads is extremely diminshed. Run a 1200 mile 2 stop load for $1200.00 and then run 300 or 400 miles of deadhead. Unfornately I'm not the United States Government so I can't run my business like they run the country as far as profit/loss goes. Nuf said........ Hope this sheds some light in areas many people may or may not have thought of.

I used to work for ATS. They own Warren. Don't let anyone tell you different. They operate as two separate companies though. I think ATS drivers do better. If Warren had a haul closer to your home you might be better off. They haul a lot out of Waterloo and a lot of loads from Laredo going up to Illinois and North Carolina. They don't hesitate to deadhead you far because you are on percentage.
