Hometime takes a backseat to business needs. All you get is a 34 hour reset. Barely enough time to see your wife and family. New drivers get old, worn out dirty trucks. Maintenance is responsive for doing repairs.
Cons
No hometime for family life

Very poor management and no organization. No one has a clue what they're doing on the management side. Lots of favoritism and planning staff and floor supervisor will not take your calls. Regional Managers are useless. Safety dept seldom answers the phone when you call
Pros
Insurance is pretty good.
Cons
Ashley used to be an amazing company. They've become very cheap and micro managed.

Ashley has VERY good equipment, the pay is avrage to low, 90% of the people are nice, and good at their job. Home time is AWFUL you ARE home every weekend... for ONE day, so you get home but its not really quality time off. I can NOT say enough good things about the equipment! you are givin delivery WINDOWS not an exact time for most loads. Benifits are CHEAP and you get FAIR coverage.
Pros
Great equipment, Good people, very little JUST IN TIME loads
Cons
Lower pay, VERY poor hometime, some crabby fellow drivers, Ashleys attendence policy is harsh but fair... somewhat

I've worked for Ashley now 8 months in orientation they tell you all the good but it's nothing like that . You can't have any Medical issues if you do they don't care. I have a heart condition I have have to see a Dr. Twice a yr they charge you a day an it goes against you an that day counts as 3. You bring an excuse it still goes against you. I have to go an do an hour surgery 1 hour cost you a day an you don't even have to miss a work day to do this . The pay isn't what they tell you an you set as much as you work at times some times all day an get nothing. Drop an hook pay was a lie an the working with you when you have to see a Dr. Is a lie. They don't care about your health at all . If you take the job good luck because everything they told you was false. You learn after a few months just how much they truly care an that's not at all. This is the first time I have ever worked for a company that does not work with employees when it comes to health issues or needing a day are 2 off to take care of things. No family live at all an no time to relax . 34 done back to work . You have to learn how to cram 5 days of work around your home in to one day an spend an hour maybe 2or 3 with wife an kids an bed an out the door. When I get chance to look for new job gone. . Poor dispatching an paining. Once in blue moon may come in an load be ready. If so it very rarely.
Pros
Insurance. Not the job
