Butler Transport is a good company to work for, but only for the first 6 months. After that you do not get any miles 2400 miles a week is a good week. There are select few that get 12,000 miles a month, but those are the people who kiss ### the best. If you are not good at kissing ### this is not the company for you. I wrote a review in Facebook which they took down. They will leave you sit for 2 or 3 days waiting for a load. They will pay you $50 per day but you have to beg for it. You cannot support your family at this company. The upper management treats the truck drivers like garbage. I watched my husband get spoken to and humiliated on a routine basis. They spoke to him like he was stupid.l, when in fact, he has a college degree. They take money out of paychecks so you must watch your pay closely. Management does not seem to understand that with no drivers they have no jobs. Some dispatchers ask for gifts for better miles. A bribe to get more miles is unethical. I witnessed all of this first hand. I have never been so disgusted with a company in my life. And lastly, you can forget about home time. You have to fight it. Trucker beware!!!

This company promise you that they will be there for you. That’s so much B.S. Do not trust anything that they say.i was told I Would receive $630.00 a week While I was in training. Well that Never happened. They tell you you only have to drive two hours to a day to receive $630 a week that is so far from the truth you have to drive 10 hours a day at least 600 miles and your paycheck would never be right my paychecks were $300-$400 before taxes. No Detention pay. My driver manager. Was Very disrespectful ( A.Hold) the train was an A hold as well. Please stay away from this company. They want you to be out for 4 weeks for 3 days of Hometime. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY Stay away

Worked for Butler for 2 years, left for a job that had me at home more nights than not. Butler is a great company to work for if you drive OTR. I saw a review on another site that complained about the shop, I responded there and I'll post it here- if you have a problem with that shop, you must just have a problem with WHO is working in the shop and not the shop itself. They do great work and it is always done quickly to keep us rolling. Also, don't pick at people who speak broken english, at least they try and don't just speak a language you can't understand. If I ever go back OTR, Butler will be where I go. Also, George is a cool dude.

2 months running and all going real good. They run all over-out in Wyoming now-been to Tx,up and down east coast from Fla to Mass-out to Al,Ar.I dont require hometime but understand its a few days for every 3 weeks out. They do keep you rolling and thats what I am out here for-never been pulled in a weigh station or had inspection-get the green lite always even when they are open. The shop took care of a few problems I had right away got me back there and fixed unload and rolled that day.

I give them the THUMBS UP

After 4 mos all still going great-no inspections-plenty of miles-trips back to back & given b4 empty so you can plan.Looks like the best company I have been with and hope to be with them til I retire.

Butler Transport (the good and the bad)

Well, I'm on my 27th day here at Butler, so far so good, only two complaints I have are 1) home time, 2days for 2weeks work sux, 2) I seem to be their favorite to run the northern tier (I90) cause that's where I've been since day 1. I'd like to see something more southern, but it seems the "old timers" here get the longer southern and southwestern routes.

I am with Butler also-for fueling you have a TCH card and Comdata for when you need fuel and no pilot/flyj.You run your own routes which is nice-have a qcomm navigation which is pretty decent.Run all over really-havent been to WA,ID or OR but otherwise have covered all the states.

They keep you preplanned and is really great to know where you are going in advance and the miles are there-you just gotta know how to manage your time to get them all run and make ontime del & drops.

Best company I have worked for in a long time.
