Rebranding in full swing. New uniforms, building signage, everything. Conway doesn't exist as of October last year when we were bought.

Even though they pay pretty well and have decent bennies I think conway/xpo would be at the bottom of pretty much every bodies list.

Here's what I know:
In an effort to quickly save some money, they (XPO) let go of a bunch of their sales people, as well as some upper management. R&L scooped up a bunch of the sales people and YRC scooped up a bunch of the management people. XPO has since sued YRC over some non-compete clause those people signed when they accepted their severance packages. Some of the sales people have been hired back, but damage had already been done. Customers weren't really kept in the loop about the acquisition, leaving drivers (who were also confused about what would happen) to try and make sure customers didn't panic and use other carriers. It seems to me like they did in fact lose a good amount of business because I keep hearing P&D guys complaining about not getting any overtime and there is talk of a bunch of their linehaul runs getting cut and drivers sitting at home. They have a bunch of drivers looking elsewhere for work right now.
That is why I'd advise against starting a career with them at the moment.
