Salary
Davis Express offers its employees $.40 per mile with the opportunity to make up to $.55 per mile.
Davis Express also offers the following compensation:
- Safety Bonus: Additional $.01 per mile paid quarterly
- Additional Stop Pay: $15 per Retail Stop (30-45 minute unload time), $25 per Warehouse Stop
- Layover Pay: $100 Layover for the first 24 hours. $50 for every 6 hours thereafter
- Detention Pay: $10 per Hour After 4 Hours. Capped at $100 for first 24 hours
- Vacation Pay: 1 Week of Vacation after 1 Year 2 Weeks of Vacation after 5 Years
- Orientation Pay: $1000 Orientation Pay when the driver takes dispatch. This is paid the following Friday after Orientation.
- Driver Referral Bonus: $1000 per Referred Driver (paid over 90 days after hire), $.01 per mile driven by Referred Driver
- Paid Weekly by Direct Deposit
