Dedicated Transport was founded in June 1988 as an outgrowth of a small truck leasing company located in Newbury, Ohio; approximately 30 miles east of downtown Cleveland. Frank Wagner and Tom McDermott, both former Leaseway Transportation executives, have developed the company over the last 25+ years.
From its humble roots of one truck and driver, the company has now grown to 130+ employees and annual revenues approaching $20 million dollars. Dedicated Transport initially focused on growing the dedicated contract carriage business with manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors in Northeast Ohio. Today their footprint stretches from Wyoming to Florida.
