Bill Keith started FirstExpress in 1994 after seeing a trend developing in the transportation industry of businesses being under increasing pressure to be innovative. The opportunity that he saw was that many transportation companies were becoming increasinly inflexible to customer needs, thus creating a need for premium service carriers. He wanted to build a company that would adapt to and fulfill those needs. FirstExpress is the result of that vision and the application of Bill's 50 years of transportation experience. We started with 13 trucks and in 20 years we are still growing comfortably to our current fleet of more than 200 trucks today.
We are headquartered in Nashville, TN with employees in 15 states. We value the contributions of our employees above all else because without their hard work, we would not be in the position we are today.
