Joseph Dvorak bought his first Mack truck in about 1950. Joe originally hauled automobiles cross-country before locally hauling coal and bricks. He hired two other drivers, but they didn't last long. Joe's trucking company didn't grow until his son, John, graduated from high school and began working with him. As soon as John turned 21, he started to drive tractor trailers with his dad. In 1983, JD Trucking become incorporated.
John Dvorak has carried on his father's business for the past 30 years. John has fostered JD Trucking to grow from 2 to 14 power units, employing over 20 people even during the recent recession.
