Meiborg tries forcing drivers to run recap (work 21 days straight/no day off basically), they do their best to avoid 34 hour resets (more revenue for the company), tries to force drivers to log off-duty at shippers/receivers to stop the 70 hour clock for the week (therefore extending your 70 and making you work more than 70 hours weekly), minimum 21 days on the road/4 nights home, constant non stop freight, no benefits until 90 days (if it weren't for the 90 day policy I would've signed up for health insurance/short term disability immediately), dispatch/safety didn't have anything to say when I schooled them on FMCSA on-duty rules/regulations because they knew they were in the wrong, if you need to go home for medical reasons they'll dock salary pay, trucks are governed at 67mph, trucks have mitigation collision alarms, they track your every move, trucks have APUs but they never fixed mine, automatic trucks, very poor communication. I was diagnosed with Plasmablastic Lymphoma cancer March 12th, and they requested I sign a form for voluntary resignation because they weren't granting any medical leave of absence so I could do my treatment/chemotherapy starting in April. Meiborg offers medical leave of absence unpaid to those who wish not to resign, but I wasn't given the option. I will never return...I'd rather take my 10 years of trucking experience and work for someone that knows what they're doing and has respect for those that bring in the revenue (the drivers).

They look at drivers like they’re robots. Not enough miles most of the time and they hold “bonus” over your head to make you live on the road.
Cons
Everything else. Bad owner

If you are looking for good equipment this company is for you. Other than that you will have to go somewhere else.
Pros
Just another trucking company
Cons
Dispatch miles owner.

Good balance of home time and miles. My dispatcher is the best I’ve ever had and listens to me. On top of health insurance, Meiborg gives us free chiropractic care.
Pros
Equipment is the best in the industry
Cons
No after hours dispatch but they do give us everyone’s cell phone for problems and people do pickup when they’re called.
