Pros
Paid sick time, paid vacation, decent equipment, generous 401k/profit sharing. Also better than being over the road.
Cons
company doesnt offer competitive wages of local industry standards. If pay isn't re-evaluated high turnover will occur. That leads to more inexperienced drivers, that can make costly mistakes. Well compensated drivers will focus more on the task at hand, therefore reducing mistakes. Either way you you will pay. You can invest in your employees , or you can continue to invest in costly mistakes
