I'll save your soul on this one, Look somewheres else. I thought 6 months at walmart was the worst job I ever had until I did 12 weeks at rti. No miles, crappy trucks that are double leased and more. You can only fuel at PFJ and a I'm still trying to figure out how an annual inspection on a trailer never expires, so says the big chested safety lady!
You can send me a PM for the rest of the story!

I just quit RTI day before yesterday. They tell you that if they don't have the truck you want, that you get 10weeks payment free, but if they have the truck you want, you get a $2, 000 sign on bonus. Don't botherasking for a Kenworth, no one ever gives them up because they're good trucks! I was given a 2012 Peterbilt 587 and got "10 weeks free". Well, mydispatcher sent me a text message on Tuesday morning stating that I would be swapping trucks once I got back in Owensboro. They were going to put mein a 2015 ProStar which was fine because it had a cummins and not a max force! BUT, they wanted me to start making payments on the truck immediately! Ihad only been there a month and I still had 6 weeks left on my "10 free"! Just a week earlier I told Mike, who is the ops manager for Owensboro that I wasn't getting enough miles to make a decent paycheck(over $500.00) and I was given 2 loads back to back that were 733 miles each. Then it went right back to 112, 212 and 333 mile loads! 95% of their loads come from and go to Ragu which is literally right across the street from their terminal in Owensboro! Mike told mehimself they didn't have very much freight! I told Mike I couldn't afford to make their truck payment of$553.00 a week when I was only bringing home$500.00 a week!! My third check, was for $2, 663.00out of that check I only got $514.00! They deduct so much, you're pretty much paying to work for them! Inever signed a lease thank goodness, or I would havebeen screwed!! My suggestion, STAY AWAY FROMRTI!

i quit them about a month after i started. Now they do have a good lease but what they dont tell u is they only have 1 customer which is ragu and most of there loads are only 150 miles out every now and again you might get lucky and get a 500 mile load but the thing is everyl load i got after driving the 150 mile load i was waiting at least 20 to 30 hours before they would find another 150 or 250 mile load. Needless to say your gonna be owing them money. Do not go there. 1500 miles a week and they think there doing there job and getting you miles

I worked for RTI, run as fast as you can! worst 12 weeks of my life. 12 weeks and only 29k miles. had nothing with but problems with my dm. poor communication. pay never right. took for ever to get my safety bonus for a level 1. don't fall for the all inclusive full service maintenance. your paying into a pool on a deal that is already included in the lease for where ever the got the truck. Plus, it is not a walk away lease!!!!! Left and went to JCT. Whole lot happier and I'm not in the poor house either

My husbands been at RTI a few weeks now, so far the miles have been horrible for him and everyone he has talked to... had one good week that ended with him sitting waiting for a load
