Smooth Operators Inc. was founded in 1991 by our owner Mike Smiley, a second generation trucker.
Our base of operations is conveniently located a quarter of a mile north of I-43 on US Hwy 14 near Darien, WI. It's approximately 50 miles from Milwaukee, 40 to Madison, 15 to Beloit, WI and 75 to Chicago.
Today, we are one of the leading carriers for manufacturers of energy related equipment and systems which require extra care and handling, and typically are critical time sensitive deliveries
