Former Employee - Jan 21, 2021

Fixed at minimum tires at min tread on trailers. trailers usually dirty. Hearing from other drivers a lot of forced dispatching and long layovers.

Pros

Pay getting better. Other companies in same area pay better. Equipment is slowly improving. More drivers going to local only.

Cons

As I stand now major hazmat violations. Looking at safestat alot of out of service violations showing up in all categories

Veriha trucking doesn’t take the side of a driver rather just what makes the office staff happy. They don’t care about family or home time plus poor pay

Pros

None, umm, none, none, none

Cons

Poor pay, no home time, safety,

Started in September 2018. Has been by far the best company I've ever worked for.All promises have been kept. They keep you moving which as we all know is important. The equipment is top of the line. I've yet to come across a trailer not maintained to perfection with a recent inspection on it.Being a mid size company you feel like you know everyone on administration side and they know you.Very big on safety which means a lot as we all wanna get home. And when you want to get home they get you home as promised. And finally for those weeks when circumstances keep your miles down the guaranteed pay is a godsend...couldn't be happier.

Veriha??

Yeah I did, unfortunately, actually the bought out the company I was working for, made all kinds of empty promises, then flushed out all the drivers and office personnel. It's nothing but a Green Bay Area scrap paper hauling company run by ex-Schneider lackeys, lots of micromanagement, driver facing cameras, short crappy mileage loads, even crappier equipment. I left them last year and will never be back to them. if you like long haul freight with good equipment and being left alone, forget about veriha.

Do not work for this company. They are charging you vacation days when you do not know about them until you get your pay stub. The dispatchers are

skimming miles, they send you one set showing pay miles on your dispatch and pay you another on your pay stub. The average is 300 miles so far. Wrong directions being sent, maintenance is getting bad, report repairs needed and next time you pick up equipment it stilll needs repair. Its getting worse they hire

drivers from other states and the ones from WI are only getting 400 mile trips. Dispatchers are getting worse and they and company do not care, money is more important.
